New Friends New Life

Human trafficking is a form of modern-day slavery that uses force, fraud, or coercion to exploit people for labor or commercial sex. Every year, 300,000 youth in Texas alone are at risk of being trafficked.

New Friends New Life helps to empower young women in Dallas, Texas who have been trafficked or sexually exploited. Their Youth Resource Center provides a safe space for girls and teens to create a plan for safety, independence, and new possibilities for their lives surrounded by positivity and role models.

New Friends New Life will receive a $20,000 grant from the Aura Cacia Positive Change Project in 2023 to support 124 girls and women who are survivors of or at risk for sex trafficking and exploitation.
