We asked Amie and Brian to test and photograph recipes showcasing our Organic Seafood Seasonings — and to come up with a recipe of their own!

Amie Valpone, a Manhattan-based personal chef, culinary marketing consultant, whole living expert, professional recipe developer and food writer, understands the importance the right seasoning has in a dish. Her years growing up on the New Jersey coast taught her the flavors of the sea, and her magical ways with vegetables made her the perfect chef to bring the taste of seafood to our two vegan dishes, Vegan "Tuna" Salad and Chickpea & Lentil Vegan Gumbo.

Brian Samuels knows about making seafood that tastes — and looks — great. From his home in Boston, this self-described "adventurous pescatarian (sometimes a very naughty one) whose great passion is to cook, write about and photograph food," created seafood dishes ranging from indulgent to simple, enjoying every bite.
