Essentially Clean: Essential Oil Based Hand Sanitizers
We all know by now that hand sanitizers are a 'must have' when going anywhere.
Fortunately, Aura Cacia has a few of the best ones around. Each hand sanitizer is made with 80% alcohol content to effectively disinfect hands, and glycerin to help prevent drying out skin. Scented with 100% pure essential oils and available in three varieties: lavender, tea tree citrus and unscented. They will keep you safe and smelling great.
Let’s take a closer look so you can pick which one is the best for you:
- Lavender is a blend of three lavenders: lavender, lavandin, and spike lavender. It’s perfect when you need that sense of calm and soothing aroma. Getting back to socializing, or being in crowded spaces again is causing some people to feel a little untethered, so this will help with grounding oneself in those spaces.
- Tea tree & citrus, my personal favorite, is a blend of tea tree, sweet orange, nutmeg and ylang-ylang. It feels like an uplifting aromatic mist to refresh myself energetically and emotionally as I’m sanitizing. My hands feel happy and I do too.
- Unscented allows for ability to choose your own personal aroma blend. You get to decide if you want to give your sanitizer an extra protective boost, a refreshing citrusy blend, or keeping it unscented if you’re feeling that. For that protective boost add in the rescue charm blend or make your own blend with oils like cinnamon, clove, and eucalyptus. A citrusy boost of lemon or sweet orange helps keep you feeling happier and your energy up as you’re taking on the day. Drop the essential oils directly into the bottle. I would recommend a 2% dilution for your blend, which would be 24 drops total.
These are also not just for your hands. I use them on my keys, phone, door handles, and other surfaces I interact with while on the go. After a spray down of the surfaces I will do a quick spray into the airspace to help me feel better and safer wherever I’m at.
Safe and happy travels!
