Meet The Two Species of Eucalyptus.

Aura Cacia carries two varieties of eucalyptus- Eucalyptus globulus and organic Eucalyptus radiata. While Eucalyptus radiata is the more commonly used eucalyptus, both are well loved for clearing applications.

Where Does it Come From?

Of the two species of eucalyptus that Aura Cacia carries, Eucalyptus globulus comes from China, and organic Eucalyptus radiata comes from South Africa. Aura Cacia Eucalyptus globulus typically comes from a village in the Yunnan mountain area of southern China, where it was planted to reforest the area nearly 100 years ago. Distillers use the small pieces of wood on which the eucalyptus leaves are attached, to supply the heat necessary to create the steam for distillation.
