Since Frontier's inception, our company has built a foundation of employee programs that promote well-being and champions personal and professional growth. At Frontier, we believe that employee-focused policies and objectives result in a productive, efficient workforce. Our tremendous employee support was an important factor in Frontier being named to Inc. magazine's list of America's 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies in 1983.

Frontier strives to create innovative employee programs that make our company a great place to work and thrive. We believe a company that creates, produces, and markets wholesome, natural foods and personal care products should also focus on policies and practices that promote personal well-being in the workplace.

Over the years, we have provided a number of employee programs dealing with education reimbursements, loans for computer equipment, awards for environment-saving ideas, etc. We have also established an award-winning childcare program, a delicious and healthful subsidized lunch program and an on-site gymnasium. We have also gained attention for imaginative benefits such as onsite massage, haircuts and oil changes.

Frontier's Childcare Center cares for more than 50 children of employees (as well as children from the surrounding community) each day. Since 1983, childcare has been provided onsite, giving parents convenient, reliable childcare that meets their needs. Mothers can bring their babies to work and continue nursing, for example. The program is subsidized by Frontier, making the cost very low for employees. Our childcare facility and family-friendly policies earned us recognition from Working Mother Magazine as one of the 100 best companies for women to work for three years running.

Our subsidized, on-site daily lunch program provides full, nutritious meals with natural and organic ingredients and plenty of vegetarian choices. Full meals are available for less than $3.00.

The on-site gym offers a place to play basketball and volleyball, do aerobics and workout with a variety of fitness equipment. The gym is available to employees over the noon hour, evenings and weekends. Children in childcare use the gym during working hours.
