Peter and his wife Annie started Annie's Naturals in 1984 and guided it to a market-leading position across the country -- it held a 49% national market share for natural foods dressings in 2005. Peter's initial job in the company was creating sales, giving him experience in managing sales on a national level through regional sales people and brokers. He also participated in the general management and strategic planning as Annie's Naturals consistently outperformed natural foods market growth, growing profitably at over 20% per year until he and his wife sold the company in 2005. Peter is a member of a family of four -- Annie, Spencer (21), Sienna (33) and himself. He lives in Vermont on a farm that has been in his family for seven generations and is still being farmed.
