5 things to keep in mind when planning your essential oil learning party

1. Invites and Invitees. Consider limiting your group to around 12 members. Your essential oil learning club will be more intimate, plus a smaller group makes planning and meeting logistics more manageable.

2. Themes. For ready-made learning themes and associated recipes, choose any of the online Inspirations from Aura Cacia, or let them further inspire you to come up with your own essential oil based themes. Suggestions: holidays, gifts, perfume or home cleaning. Then do the research to develop your learning activity and discussion.

3. Essential Oil(s) and Ingredients. Look to the Aura Cacia Inspiration you're using and the recipes it features. Obtain the essential oils needed for your learning party and provide them to the group. Or divvy up the list and assign items to invitees ahead of meeting. Shoot for a modest spending target of $5 to $7 per person which can be covered by the host or pooled from the participants.

4. Learning. Make discussion part of your learning party. Encourage questions and shared research with all of the participants gathering and sharing information about the topic at hand. Make products, (2 recipes is a good target). For the best flow, set up ingredients and directions at stations that participants can take turns at and then experience the completed products as a group.

5. For Next Time. Take the time to canvas your group for a topic and activity to focus on at your next meeting. Rotate hosting duties. Make assignments and set a date.
