Spiced Dried Citrus Ornaments
 Ingredients:
A variety of fresh, colorful citrus (oranges, limes, lemons)
A variety of spice essential oils (cinnamon, clove, allspice)
Decorative ribbon, string or twine
Small cellophane bags.
Carefully slice citrus into ¼ inch slices. Arrange on a wire rack and dry in the oven at lowest setting. Sprinkle dried citrus slices with several drops of essential oils. Poke or drill a small hole into dried slices and tie a loop of ribbon. Place ornaments in bags and tie shut with more ribbon.
 Winter Forest Air Freshener
Ingredients:
A variety of natural pine cones (collected from nature or purchased at a craft store)
A variety of evergreen essential oils (balsam fir needle, pine, cedarwood)
Cellophane bags.
Sprinkle each pine cone with several drops of essential oils. Place several scented cones in each bag and tie shut with ribbon. |
