ESSENTIAL OIL OF THE MONTH
 Eucalyptus
Eucalyptus, also know as fever tree, yields the quintessential therapeutic
essential oil. The warm, penetrating aroma is associated with chest rubs,
steam vaporizers and even cough drops. The oil is steam-distilled from the
leaves. The main purifying constituents are cineole and camphor. Eucalyptus
has always been used for it's warming, muscle and joint penetrating
properties. A few drops of eucalyptus in a massage oil will ease tension
and soothe sore muscles. A diffusion of the oil will purify the air and
inspire deep, clear breathing.
