Men's Body Wash. Keep it simple and natural with this easy formula of vegetable oil-based soap and pure essential oils. It contains aromas of spices, herbs and citrus, which are staples in widely appealing men's colognes:
4 ounces unscented liquid soap (castile-type)
20 drops bergamot BF essential oil
16 drops bay essential oil
8 drops vetiver essential oil
4 drops neroli essential oil
Mix oils and soap. Use with washcloth in shower. Tip: follow-up with a moisturizing skin care oil such as grapeseed or jojoba.
Soothing Aftershave Spray. Here is a natural blend of cooling, nourishing and moisturizing ingredients in one easy-to-use spray:
2 ounces water
1 ounce witch hazel extract
1/2 ounce cider vinegar
1 teaspoon aloe gel (unscented)
1 teaspoon grapeseed oil
15 drops peppermint essential oil
15 drops lavender essential oil
15 drops grapefruit essential oil
Mix ingredients in a spray mist bottle. Shake vigorously and apply a few spritzes after shaving.
Rosemary Hair Oil & Scalp Massage. Rosemary essential oil has long been used as a stimulating hair and scalp tonic. This oil is a great treatment to apply before shampooing:
4 ounces jojoba oil
15 drops rosemary essential oil
15 drops nutmeg essential oil
15 drops sweet orange essential oil
Mix ingredients and massage vigorously into scalp and hair just before shampooing. |
