Aura Cacia's Online Aromatherapy Training Course has been developed to provide you with basic information about essential oils and aromatherapy. While designed to be accessible to those new to aromatherapy, it also offers an excellent review or refresher course for anyone who has previously taken other basic aromatherapy training.

Completing this course will provide you with a fundamental understanding of the principles of aromatherapy and specific information about essential oils and their uses. Taking this course will not make you a certified aromatherapist--the requirements for professional aromatherapy certification go well beyond the basic information provided here. For your convenience, the course outline is found at the bottom of every page. You'll also find a list of FAQs (Frequently Asked Customer Questions) alongside each section.

If you are new to aromatherapy, we recommend you follow the numbered sequence of sections to most effectively build your understanding. Each section has a set of study questions to help you gauge your understanding of the information. You can obtain a Certificate of Completion when you finish the course by taking a 40-question test covering the material in all the study sections.
